I guess USCIS is sending Receipt Notes according to priority dates meaning with 2006-7 priority dates will get receipts later.
My 485 reached on 2nd july...No Update yet.
Can I ask any one get RN with priority date later than 2006?

I sent my application to vermont based on the USCIS answering system on June 30th that folks with approved I-140s should send 485 applications to the center where it was approved. Any ideas, if there is a problem with that and if the app gets transferred how much time it will take.

Does the published cumulative demand data represent
a) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants and their dependents
OR
b) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants only?
If say, the demand data for EB3, till 2004 says 35,000 - does this mean there are a total of 35,000 pending cases in total OR does this represent primary applicants only?
If it represents primary applicants only, what is the multiplication factor we need to use to get an approximate number for total pending 485 cases?

I filed 485 last july and want to file EAD now. I had FP done last year. If I do efiling for EAD will I have to go to ASC for photos. I saw in other posts that they have linked Biometrics but what abt the photos ?

eFiling EAD will result in ASC appointment for code 2 biometics (Finger Printing of right Index finger + photo). You need to take the appointment letter and one form of photo id (passport or drivers id).
I had my ASC apt. for eFiled EAD last week (Feb. 12th).

My 485 is pending and and I am still working on h1. I have EAD and advance parole, but do not want to use parole to go to canada (Wanted to save it for India trip). Do I have to take canadian visa to travel to canada for 3 days based on my currnet status. what is the process to take the visa?

I see the following address in the I-485 form. But it is a PO Box address.

I think Fedex will not accept PO Box address. Is it true ? So, what is the correct address for sending I-485 and I-765 using Fedex Overnight ?

Any I-485 approvals from Nebraska.. for EB3-I in the month of Jan..
My finger printing was done in Sep-2007 .....took an Infopass and opened a SR .The IO officer @ infopass said that the finger printing has to be initiated from Nabraska...any body on the same boat

Thats correct. Once the I-140 is denied all the status' that comes with it goes away. So EAD, AP etc are no longer valid. Keep on extending H-1B and if the I-140 ever gets denied then you guys can move to H status.

Say if one has two I-140 and wish to port the priority from the older one to the later one. And if the USCIS does not agree with your filing(maybe they will say the filing is not possible or not portable). What will they do? Will they deny the I-485 or will they just reject the application. If so will it cause an issue when the later priority date is reached and during the application of the following I-485.

If your EAD is based on your husband's I-485 app I don't see any reason as to why that should affect your gc process if you move jobs.

Theoretically, it's possible. However, if there is a Ability 2 Pay issue during 485 adjudication, would you be able to take care of it?

Restamping is not required. But just make sure you show your new approval notice to IO at POE. Done this couple of years back
