Can someone get GC’s without reaching the priority dates?
I don’t have much information but I heard the following by mouth. My friend told me that he came to know a person(Indian) who had got his GC without the priority date being current. His prior status was EAD. If it is real, is this a fluke case?
I know many people applied for I485 in 2005 Sep, and PD was also from that year, and got the EAD’s. So do they have priority of getting GC than people who had PD dates prior to 2005 but not filed for I485?

As far as i know, what ever you said is right. if your priority date is current and also your processing date then you can actually contact your local senator stating the same which will/may resolve the problem

I am planning to visit India soon. I have my AP and an expired F1 visa.
I haven't been to India since I got my H1 approved; so I don't have an H1 visa stamp on my passport at all. My I-797 is approved until 2010.
Can you please advise if I should get my passport stamped with my H1 or should I be ok with my AP?

During my last H1 transfer in 2008,LCA was filed for 60k per anum.LCA was filed in as work location Lanham,MD
Last Year ,my payroll ran for 90k per annum.
This year , my pay stub is running for 60k per annum. Still my Labor is for 60k only.
Will this be a problem when I am applying for Labor and at I140 stage in GC process?
Now If I am applying for H1b Extension,because of this drastic difference of 30k per anum,
will this be a problem.
please help me with answering this question.

Iam an H4 transferred to H1B. I am on H1B since one year. My pay is less than the one mentioned in LCA, but more than the prevailing wages. My job profile also includes some part of salary as comission, which I would get at the end of the year. This is apart from the salary Iam receiving right now (greater than the prevailing wage and less than LCA). Do I face any problem if I happen to go for H1B visa stamp. Could you also suggest me how to defend myself if I am asked the difference in the salary by visa officer. Thanking you all in advance.

Reform Immigration For America reports that 500,000 people participated in May Day protests at 80 events around the country. I was attending my 20th law school reunion this weekend in Chicago so took the opportunity to attend the event in the Windy City. Hi metguh!
You cannot adjust the brightness of an object in Blend. What you can do, though, is alter the opacity or transparency.
For best practice from going from PS to Blend, what I would do is rasterize the image and import that image into your Blend project. Silverlight supports images that are PNG and JPEG.

Hello,
Please guide me in my situation.
I am on OPT right now which is valid thru May 2008. I have already applied for H1 through Company A in April this year. I got a job offer from Company B recently. I would like to join Company B and start working for it on my OPT. Company A failed to provide job for me so I wish to transfer my H1 (once after it is approved) to Company B. Now I have the following questions:
1. What happens to my OPT after I get approved for H1 through Company A?
2. Do I have to stop working for Company B as soon as I get my H1?
3. Can I transfer the H1 I get for Company A to Company B without any paystubs?
4. Can I refuse the H1 and continue to work for Company B on my OPT and then apply for fresh H1 in 2008?
5. Is there any possibility for Company A to cancel my status and make me go back to India?
Please help. I am totally lost and confused.....:confused:

How do I post to the monthly contest and keep the pictures in my albums? If I copy the images it posts them again in the "today's photos". Is there a way to post to just your album without them going to "today's photos"?

Recently I transferred my H1 to another company. My H1 and my wife�s H4 got expired on last August 2nd 2007. However, the new company filed H1B application and it got approved 2 weeks back, but forgot to file for H4 extension for my wife. My company is saying they will file for H4 extension (I-539) now, even though her visa/I-94 got expired and she doesn�t have to go back home. Do you think they are on right track? I�d really appreciate if anyone could suggest me on this.
